Lord Jesus,

Today we want to thank you for the gift of mothers. For the way in which they care and devote themselves to raising children.

We also pray today for those for whom this is a difficult day. For those who may long to be a mother but aren’t able to, for those who have a strained relationship with their mother or may have lost their mothers. We pray that your peace will be with them and that you would support them today.
