“But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.”

Father,

We thank you that throughout this turbulent time you remain ever close to us. We thank you that we can make you, the Lord who is sovereign over all of Heaven and Earth our refuge and safe space. We bring to you all our worries and anxieties about being in another lockdown, about the effects of the Coronavirus, and about being separated from some of our friends and family.

Lord, would you help us know your nearness so that we may find our strength in you. Help us to continue to diligently pursue you throughout this lockdown and continue to be a light to all those we do find we encounter over these next few weeks. May we be able to tell others of your goodness even throughout a pandemic.
