In partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) we offer free budgeting courses which are open to anyone. Maybe you could do with some help in sorting out your finances? Or perhaps you know of someone struggling to make ends meet. Come and join us! In three sessions you will construct your own budget and learn how to stick to it. You won’t have to share personal information about your finances unless you want to. If you would like to chat with someone about your finances or are not sure if the course would be right for you, please get in touch through the links below.

Connect Café at Soul Survivor
Every Monday (except Bank Holidays) in No 7 Greycaine Road …
From 10am to 1pm, we offer a safe, warm place to come and chill over a hot drink with toast, cakes or fruit. Then at noon we serve a hot 2-course lunch for a small donation.
Open to anyone! If you are free on a Monday morning come and check us out! You can find a comfy spot and read a newspaper, meet some new friends over a board game, catch up with your emails on our computers, or sit and chill for a while!
You are especially welcome if you are lonely, going through a bit of a hard time or would welcome the chance to chat something through with one of our team.
Sometimes we need a bit of help from people who won't judge us but will help and support us whether that is sorting out our personal budget, getting to grips with Universal Job Match, revising a CV or learning how to use a computer.
If we recognise that there is a need for a course we will do our best to provide it! It won't be pass or fail - just help along the way!
Wellbeing and work: 4 sessions on a Monday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30. This course answers some of the questions you may have if you have never worked or have been out of work for some time. Booking is necessary. For more details: email@example.com
CAP Money Course: 3 x 90 minute sessions. This course helps teach budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that really works. It will help anyone to get more in control of their finances, so they can plan ahead well. If you are struggling with debt the course also offers help in thinking through your options to clear your debts.
Those attending the Connect Café regularly are invited to join a Connect Group where we learn about the Bible and pray for each other. From 1-2pm each Monday except Bank Holidays.
Opportunities to help in a variety of ways are available, both practical and befriending; from setting up the computers, serving tea and coffee, helping to prepare lunch, laying the tables, using the dishwashers to help clear up. For more details: firstname.lastname@example.org
Come and see us - if you don't need help then maybe you can come and help someone else who does or just be a friend and listen!
