We are a church family in Watford, Hertfordshire that is seeking to love God, love one another, and love the world around us.
We’re an Anglican church which means we’re part of the Church of England but we’re very relaxed and informal. We meet in two warehouses next to each other on an industrial estate in North Watford and hold three services each Sunday at 9.15am, 11.30am and 6.30pm. We also livestream our 11.30am service each Sunday so you can join us any time you like without even leaving your house!
Our services usually last around an hour and a half. We make plenty of space for sung worship because this is so much more than singing songs - it’s an opportunity to encounter God! We also hear talks based on teaching from the Bible, and we pray for one another in the power of the Holy Spirit. We take God seriously but we don’t take ourselves seriously so you’ll find we’re not very slick and we’re often laughing! We love to spend time together as a family, and eating together is something close to our hearts so do check out our social events and come along and say hello - we’d love to meet you.

Our History
Soul Survivor began in 1993 when a small team were released by St Andrews Chorleywood to plant what we now call Soul Survivor Watford. It began with 11 people in someone’s front room on a Wednesday evening, and we’ve being growing ever since. The original vision was to provide a place where young people from all over Watford could come. ‘Dreggs Café’ was launched, providing an atmosphere where young people could be cared for and loved, sparking an interest in Jesus. Over the years we’ve been joined by people of all ages and now have four services which attract different age groups, as well as youth and children’s work.
