Naturally Supernatural...

A message from Mike

'The supernatural element of Jesus’ ministry and that of the early church is available for us today but we can often miss out on seeing the miracles, signs and wonders they witnessed. I would like to invite you to join us for this conference where we will explore the Bible’s teaching on living naturally supernatural lives because I believe that as God’s people we desperately need to move in the power of the Spirit as well as the Word of God.

I am so excited about this event and believe it could be a significant turning point for many of us as we seek to be equipped to proclaim the gospel of Jesus more effectively to our nation.  I am delighted to welcome some great speakers who not only teach so effectively on this subject, but live it out in their daily lives too.  We will look at what the Bible has to say on this subject, learn how we can ‘do the stuff’ that Jesus taught his disciples in a practical way, and make plenty of space for ministry and learning how to minister in the gifts of the Spirit.

I look forward to us going on this journey together.

Mike

Conference update...

We have recently discovered that unfortunately, due to urgent business beyond his control, Blaine Cook is no longer able to join us for the Naturally Supernatural conference.  We are obviously disappointed, but we can say that in addition to Sandy Millar, Jeannie Morgan, Andy Croft and Mike we now have Ellie Mumford, who with her husband heads up the Vineyard in the UK, John & Debbie Wright, leaders of Nottingham Trent Vineyard and Ken Costa (to be confirmed), who is Chair of Lazards and Church Warden at Holy Trinity Brompton.

Although Blaine can't come, we checked with the Holy Spirit and He is planning on coming!   If you have any questions about the conference do get in touch with us at secretary@soulsurvivorwatford.co.uk.

A taste of what we want God to do...

This is a video from a Vineyard Church leaders conference, back in the 1980's. It was hosted by John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard movement and here he explains a little more about praying for healing and gives some practical demonstartions on how to pray... all led by some amazingly specific prophetic words.

Speaker Bios

Bishop Sandy Millar was Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton in London for twenty years helping it become one of the most effective communicators of the gospel in our nation. Sandy is now Bishop in Mission in the diocese of London and is currently Priest-in-Charge of St Mark’s Tollington Park in North London.  He brings a wealth of experience and Bible teaching to this subject.

Jeannie Morgan has been part of Soul Survivor Watford since its early days and travels with the Soul Survivor team ministering in the U.K. and abroad. Jeannie has a passion to set the captives free and to enable others do likewise and is author of the book ‘Let The Healing Begin’.  She trains and equips people of all ages, encouraging them to use gifts of the Holy Spirit in prayer ministry and inner healing.

Andy Croft has a First Class Theology degree from Cambridge University and is now Associate Director of Soul Survivor ministries. He heads up the ‘Called to Lead’ course and recently married Beth.

Mike Pilavachi is the Pastor of Soul Survivor Watford and the leader of Soul Survivor ministries. His great loves include Man U, grape vines and Facebook.

John & Debbie Wright were married in 1983 and have been serving together in pastoral ministry for the past 22 years.

John & Debby first connected with the Vineyard movement in 1982, and in 1987 spent 8 months as interns at Anaheim Vineyard (John Wimber's church in the USA) before returning to England to help John & Eleanor Mumford plant the first UK Vineyard in London. They worked at SW London Vineyard for 9 years before moving back to Nottingham to plant Trent Vineyard in 1996.

Ellie Mumford, along with her husband John, are the National Directors of Vineyard UK; together they worked for nearly two years with John Wimber on the staff of the Anaheim Vineyard in California before planting the SW London Vineyard in 1987. They handed over the leadership of that church in 2008 in order to concentrate more upon the oversight and development of the Vineyard movement, both nationally and internationally.

Tim Hughes is now leads worship at Holy Trinity Brompton and heads up the school of worship, worshipcentral. He's released a bunch of albums, written books and speaks on worship all over the place.
