CAP Money Course
We run Money Courses in association with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) that are available for members of the church as well as anyone from the local community. The course helps you to take control of your money and get on top of your finances. In three sessions you will construct your own budget and learn how to stick to it. You won’t have to share personal information about your finances unless you want to.

MONDAY MORNINGS AT SOUL SURVIVOR CAFE
Monday Mornings at Soul Survivor is a café at No 7 with nice coffee and tea, newspapers, board games and friendly people to chat to. There will also be free Wi-Fi, access to computers and the internet.
It is open from 10am - 1pm with a simple low-cost* lunch served at noon when we will sit together and eat, chat and generally hang out!
Here's some more info so you know what's on offer!
Sometimes you just need a safe place to chill over a cuppa, chat to friends, check your emails and know there is a listening ear if you need it. Monday Mornings at Soul Survivor Café is a relaxed place where you'll meet other people who understand and will support and encourage you.
Sometimes we need a bit of help from people who won't judge us but will help and support us whether that is sorting out our personal budget, getting to grips with revising a CV or learning how to use a computer. If we recognise that there is a need for a course we will do our best to provide it! It won't be pass or fail - just help along the way!
You will have the opportunity to have one-to-one informal support from a coach. Our coaches will spend time helping you to set goals, to identify and tackle any areas you are struggling with. If you struggle to get motivated to tackle the things you really want to sort with your life, maybe we can offer you some help with that.. It doesn't matter what - if we can't help we will try and find someone who can!
We will help you connect with volunteer opportunities, with local employers and local agencies who can offer opportunities and support. We can offer free access to computers with internet access; help you learn how to set up an email and attach a document; how to navigate Universal Job Match; help you contact other agencies who can help with benefit queries etc. and anything (legal!) that you might need help with.
Come and see us - if you don't need help then maybe you can come and help someone else who does or just be a friend and listen!
