Today

Today we meet in two separate warehouses on an industrial estate in North Watford.

We have three services on a Sunday at 10.30am, 5pm and 7pm.

Whilst we recognise different ones of us have different needs ultimately the purpose of our service is not to 'service our needs', it is to bring an offering to God. Church is for us but primarily its about our comimg together for Him.

At the same time we recognise that often at different stages in life we have different questions and issues we wrestle with. Each service is open to everyone, and all are welcomed, but each also has a slightly different emphasis.

The 10.30am (AM) service is designed to cater for families with children and youth being welcome to join the service or take part in our children and youth work programmes It is the service attended by the greatest range of ages, from new born to much older!

The 5pm service is the newest service to be added to our family and is specifically designed to cater to singles and married couples without children. It is a more relaxed, chill out session designed to build community and address the questions of the 20s and 30s crowd.

The 7pm service is specifically aimed at the Young people, especially of secondary school age. Again this service is designed to tackle the issues facing the predominantly teenage congregation, with selected youth often leading some parts of the service.

All of the services involve a time of worship, a sermon and a time of ministry where the congregation is invited forward to receive prayer.  All of the services also allow time for giving in several different ways:

· Monetarilyour only source of income is through your donations and Gift Aid (if you are a tax payer please fill out the Gift Aid form on the Welcome Desk to allow us to claim).

· Materially - in the form of disposable nappies and toiletries for local charity GirlAbout and non-perishable food and goods for the Three Rivers Refugee Action Project.

· Physically Volunteers are always needed before and after services and at events during the week, in lots of different ways. Check out the 'Getting Involved' page for more information.

The Church also runs a variety of activities on a regular basis, as well as some one off events, including various courses, such as Going Deeper, Communication and Theology. There are also a number of social events which are all good fun and a great way to meet new people and hang out with old friends, as well as sometimes being a good excuse to get dressed up and drag out those party clothes! Everybody always has a really good time and lots of people use it as an opportunity to invite family, friends and work colleagues along.

Our vision for the future is to continue with the same values and ethos that we currently have, but at the same time expanding and growing as a church family.

We want to continue to invest time in worshipping Jesus, loving each other and the community.

We want a church based around Jesus and not ourselves.

We want to be a church that takes the great commission seriously and lives to spread the good news of Jesus through the surrounding community.

God has been doing some wonderful things amongst us - we long to see more fruit and are excited about the greater things yet to come...
